This is a reward established in commemoration of Prof. Dr. med. Yu FUJIKAWA (1865-1940), one of the founders of the JSHM and a most influential researcher in Japanese medical history. The award is granted each year for an outstanding article published in the Journal of the JSHM during the past twelve months. Three articles are selected by the board and counsillars of the JSHM, the final decision is made by the board.
